Cookie Policy.

Last updated 22 June 2026

This policy explains how Sewn Up uses cookies on sewnup.co.uk, and how you can decide what we’re allowed to use. We keep it short and plain, because that’s how we’d want it explained to us.

Sewn Up is responsible for this site and the information it collects. If you have any questions about cookies or your data, email us at hello@sewnup.uk.

What cookies are.

Cookies are small text files a website saves on your device. They let a site remember things between pages and visits — for example, that you’ve already made a choice about cookies, or that you’ve visited before. Some of what we describe below is stored in your browser in a similar way (such as remembering your cookie choice); we call it all “cookies” here for simplicity.

Cookies that are always on.

These are needed for the site to work and to respect your choices, so they don’t need your permission.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent).

If you accept, we use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site — which pages are popular, how visitors get here, roughly where in the world they are. This helps us improve the site. These cookies only load after you click “Accept” — if you decline, or ignore the banner, they never load.

Google Analytics is provided by Google. You can read how Google handles this data in the Google Privacy Policy.

Where your data goes.

If you accept analytics, the information Google Analytics collects may be transferred to and stored on Google’s servers outside the UK, including in the United States. Google uses safeguards approved for this kind of transfer to keep your data protected. If you’d rather none of this happens, simply decline analytics — nothing is sent.

A note on Search Console.

We also use Google Search Console to see how the site appears in Google search results. It doesn’t place cookies on your device, so there’s nothing for you to consent to there.

Changing your mind.

You’re in control, and changing your answer is as easy as giving it. Click “Cookie Settings” at the bottom of any page to bring the banner back and switch analytics on or off whenever you like.

You can also clear the cookies and site data for sewnup.co.uk in your browser settings, or block cookies entirely through your browser — the main pages of this site work fine without them.

Questions.

If anything here isn’t clear, email us at hello@sewnup.uk and we’ll happily explain.
